Our founding First Lady, the late Dr. Elma Jean Bowers paved the way for education at Greater Emanuel. As an educator in Cincinnati Public Schools for 20+ years, Mother Bowers ensured that education was a core value of the ministry. Here, we guarantee groundbreaking effectual Apostolic (and Academic) teaching.
At Greater Emanuel, The Christian Education Ministry follows the truth that “…faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The ministry provides sound Bible-based teaching from the Word of God with the goal of every student developing into a mature believer who is “…not swayed by every wind of doctrine.”
We also encourage all educational pursuits, celebrate achievements, and offer scholarships, resources, and tools to strengthen holistic learning for all ages. The Christian Education Department strives to be a place where all can receive Biblical teaching that lead to salvation, sanctification and holiness while looking for His great coming. It is our desire to help each individual strengthen their relationship with God, inspire a love of God and His Word, and understand how the Word of God applies to their lives.
We offer classes for all of the core demographics - Children, Teens, Men, Women, and Seniors.

Children's Church
We lift Jesus higher and stomp Satan lower in Children's Church. We meet weekly during the same time as the adult Sunday Morning Worship Service and have fun but powerful services.
Our dedicated and passionate Children's Church staff help children, from ages 5-11 years, learn about Jesus Christ by imparting the Word of God in a way that they can easily understand - through music, arts, and crafts. We also provide the opportunity to develop their own personal relationship with God and encourage their curiosity.
Emanuel's Library
Have you ever been curious about Greater Emanuel's church history, inquire about Apostolicism and its differences from other doctrines, or learn more about prominent figures of the faith? Emanuel's Library has everything you need plus more.
Our library is an in-house resource for all ages that provides information in various formats to equip the members of Greater Emanuel with the knowledge they need to function successfully in this present world and to prepare them for the world to come.
